3. Special Services The following Services are not included as Part of Basic Services; and therefore, not Included in Basic Fee.

a. programming and special analyses (i. e., space relationship scheduling, etc.). b. Assisting in the preparation of application for Government grants or financing for project. c. Environmental Impact Studies and analyses And assistance in obtaining approval from Authorities having jurisdiction. d. Services related to future facilities. e. Preparing separate Construction Documents For Alternates. Where fee basis is % of Construction Costs, this would be only applicable for work not Constructed. Where project is Lump Sum or Time Card to Upset, all alternates whether constructed or Not is a Special service. f. Prepare Change Orders to reflect changes initiated By Owner. Where fee basis is % of Construction Costs, this would be applicable for work not contructed. If work is constructed, the preparation of the Change Order is still a

Special Service and The fee should be adjusted based on % of Construction cost to

cover other aspects of work (i. e., Coordination, Shop Drawings, field Observations, etc.). Where project is Lump Sum, or Time Card to Upset, preparation of Change Orders whether Constructed or not is a special Service. g. Services in connection with evaluating Substitutions proposed by Contractors after Award of contract. h. Making revisions to Drawings and/or Specifications related to the substitutions. i. Providing coordination of work performed By separate contractors. j. providing quantity surveys and detailed Construction Cost Estimates. k. Providing services in connection with the Work of a construction manager or other Consultants retained by Owner. l. Providing services related to the start-up of M/E Systems. m.
